Liam is an experienced and impactful evaluation leader, with 17+ years of experience. He is focused on ensuring that evaluation is rigorous in its design, meaningful in informing next steps, and driven by building the capacity of as many people as possible to engage deeply in evaluative thinking and practice. Specialising in developmental and utilisation-focused evaluation, Liam is focused on ensuring that evaluation stands on the shoulders of its giants. He builds the profession by growing the capacity of new and emerging evaluators both through his current role as Manager, Evaluation and Data in Quality Teaching Practice in the NSW Department of Education, and more broadly through enthusiastically sharing his ways of working with the broader profession. While previously Liam has dabbled in the worlds of filmmaking, writing and gender theory, in his spare time he is currently an emerging go kart mechanic.
