Father Frank Flynn Fellow and Professor of Harm Minimisation
James is the Father Frank Flynn Fellow and Professor of Harm Minimisation at Menzies School of Health Research - with much of his work sitting at the health/education nexus. Previous to this role he was a 2017 Equity Fellow with the National Centre for Student Equity in Higher Education, leading a project about 'strengthening evaluation in Indigenous higher education contexts in Australia'. He was also the Co-Lead of the Indigenous Leadership Research and Evaluation Network at Charles Darwin University. He has a deep interest in both Indigenous evaluation approaches; and participatory evaluation methods capable of examining cross-sectoral action on the social determinants of health.
