Kathryn is a monitoring, evaluation and learning consultant with more than 20 years of experience across Asia, the Pacific (including Australia) and the Commonwealth of Independent States. She specialises in evaluation for health and international development programs, advocacy evaluation and culturally responsive evaluation.
Kathryn is currently leading the MEL Team for the Health Security Initiative for the Indo-Pacific Region, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and is also working on an evaluation for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in India. She previously worked as Principal Consultant for the consultancy ZEST Health Strategies and is co-presenting on an evaluation she conducted while at ZEST for the Fred Hollows Foundation in Vietnam.
Kathryn is completing her PhD at UNSW in HIV advocacy evaluation in Vietnam. Part of her research in culturally responsive evaluation has looked at incorporating world views from South East Asia into existing evaluation methods. She is presenting on her research into Buddhist evaluation.
