Dr Kerrie Ikin FACE
Kerrie began her career as a teacher and executive member in government schools across New South Wales, Australia. For over 25 years she worked at the systems level of the education department as a director of schools, senior policy adviser, and senior administrator. As the director responsible for 32 schools in Sydney’s north-west, Kerrie was responsible for the leadership development of those schools’ principals and aspiring principals as well as the broader role of developing and managing evaluation and accountability structures and processes for the region’s 240 schools. Kerrie currently works as a consultant and researcher in leadership, organisational development, and evaluation-capacity-building, and as a reviewer of major government school infrastructure. Kerrie is a Fellow of the Australian College of Educators. She is an adjunct senior lecturer in the Business School at the University of New England, where her research interests are in school leadership and empowerment evaluation practices.
