It was only a short step from training in environmental science, and a background in cross-disciplinary problem-solving, to evaluation where I still ask 'why' and 'how do you know that'. I love hearing your stories of what you've done and what you've learned, especially in the areas of energy (stationary or transport), climate change, sustainability, disaster risk reduction and resilience. My team will present on 'Knowing the value of knowledge' on Monday, I'd love to see you there.
For the formal part - I have an environmental science degree and have worked across a range of environmental and energy fields and sectors both in Australia and overseas. I'm currently with the Strategic Evaluation Services team for the Climate Change Fund at NSW DPIE, where we work with programs delivering $1.4bn of investment between 2017-2022 to help households and business save energy and money, improve energy reliability and affordability and improve the resilience of communities across NSW to climate change.
