I have had thirty years of experience in conducting, designing, and evaluating vocational training within NZ Defence. In that time, I have deployed oversea, predominantly in the role of coordinating aid programmes on behalf of NZ Defence. My current role is the Senior Adviser Performance and Evaluation for NZDF. Being dyslexic, I have a keen interest in alternate data collection methods that engage participants while obtaining credible data. This has sparked my interest in learning and after completing a bachelor degree in Training Design, and the Post Grade Diploma in Social Sector Evaluation and Research, I have embarked on a Masters in Communication to invested alternate data collection methods that engage individuals with literacy issues.
