Emily Qing

Centre for Program Evaluation
Research Fellow
Emily is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Program Evaluation, Melbourne Graduate School of Education. She has worked on a range of large-scale evaluations of education programs, and has been engaged in the design of monitoring and evaluation systems for complex education initiatives. Since 2018, she has worked on the design and development of an online platform used in Victorian government schools to facilitate data collection, and for school users to track and measure progress as evidence of impact of their participation in the program.

Through her work in the education sector, she is also interested in exploring the privileging and development of evaluative mindsets in teachers and school leaders, and the tools and methods that provide the ‘how’ of evaluation and support this thinking to engage evidence-informed practices and change.
